How to register at Monro
Creating an account takes a couple of minutes; getting the order right is what saves the argument later. Half of all first-withdrawal problems are born on the sign-up form, in a name typed slightly differently from the document. Below is how to register, what to have ready for verification, and the four mistakes that most often end in a frozen balance.

The sign-up form
The register button opens the operator’s own form directly, with no intermediate page. Pick the account currency first: euro, unless you enjoy paying your bank a conversion margin on every deposit.
Real details
First and last name exactly as they appear on an eID card or passport; an email address you can open today; a working phone number for the confirmation code; and a password used nowhere else.
Confirmation
Enter the code from the SMS or email and the account is live. This is the right moment to switch on two-factor authentication and set a deposit limit — later, nobody ever gets round to it.
Deposit and the bonus decision
From EUR 20 via Trustly, Skrill, Visa, Mastercard or paysafecard; EUR 25 by SEPA; around EUR 50 in crypto. The bonus tick box sits on the same screen — tick it only after reading the bonus section and recalculating x40 for yourself.
Step five: verification, and why today beats later
The usual sequence is three days of play, a win, a withdrawal request, and then a sudden demand for documents. What could have taken an hour stretches into a day or two at exactly the moment patience is thinnest. Do it on the day you open the account instead. You will need an eID card or passport, a proof of address no older than three months such as a utility bill or bank statement, and proof of the payment method — for a card, a photograph showing only the first six and last four digits with the security code covered. Even lighting, all four corners of the document in frame, text legible. The check takes 24 to 48 hours and is done once for the life of the account.
Four mistakes worth avoiding
- Registering on someone else’s details. This ends with the account frozen and the balance withheld: money cannot be paid out to a name that does not appear on the document.
- A second account. Multi-accounting voids bonuses on both and risks a permanent block.
- A typo in the email address. The day you need a password reset, the door is already locked from the inside.
- Being under 18. Verification catches this automatically and the balance is not returned.
What to read straight after signing up
Three pages make the next steps predictable: bonus, so you know the terms before ticking anything; payments, for the timings and limits of each method; and games, for the eight slots we have written up and the live floor. One account works across every client — browser, Android APK, iOS web app — with nothing to migrate; see download.
Protecting the account
Two habits close almost every incident: a password not reused from another service, and a recovery mailbox you genuinely have access to. The overwhelming majority of stolen-account stories begin with a password leaked somewhere else entirely. Keep the phone number current, because the confirmation code goes there on every significant action, including a change of payment details.

When the form will not go through
Usually something small: the phone number needs a country code, the password fails the complexity rule, or the email is already tied to an old account. Check that the name is entered in Latin characters exactly as printed on the document and that the date of birth matches the format the form expects. If three attempts produce nothing, write to live chat — support can see the step at which the application is failing.
Cannot register: the usual causes
Four explanations cover almost every case. A restricted country: the operator publishes a list of jurisdictions from which accounts are not opened, and routing around it with a VPN is pointless, because the mismatch between geolocation and document surfaces during KYC and produces a refused payout. A previously blocked account: re-registering on the same identity documents will not pass. Details already in use: the email or phone belongs to another account. Or an ordinary technical fault — browser extensions, a script blocker or a stale cache breaking the form. Start with a clean browser window, then contact support.
One-click and quick sign-up: what is actually shorter
Quick registration formats save the moment of typing, not the checking. The system creates an account from a phone number or email and generates a password; the remaining fields still have to be completed, because no withdrawal is released without the full profile and KYC. The real saving is about a minute; the real risk is a generated password nobody wrote down, later recovered through support. Given the choice, the full form is more convenient: filled in once and never revisited.
Registering on a phone or in the app
The fields are identical, but two things are easier on mobile: the confirmation code is auto-filled from the SMS, and a Trustly deposit hands you straight to the banking app — Swedbank, SEB, Citadele or Luminor — for confirmation with Smart-ID. Registering inside the Android app works the same way; the app can be installed after the account exists. A desktop is more convenient for KYC itself, since document scans upload from disk rather than being rephotographed.
Logging in after registration
Sign in from any device with the same email or phone plus password, adding a code from your authenticator if two-factor is enabled. Forgotten the password? The forgot-password link on the login screen sends a reset email to the address on the account — which is exactly why a typo at sign-up becomes a problem. Account access is never restored on the strength of a name alone: support will ask for identity confirmation. If the email does not arrive, check the spam folder and confirm you requested it for the address stored in the profile.
The welcome bonus and where the promo code goes
The welcome bonus gives 100 per cent on a first deposit, up to EUR 300, from EUR 20. A promo code, if you have one, is entered in the cashier at the moment of deposit — there is no field for it on the registration form, and that omission is the most common reason a bonus does not appear. One code per deposit. Wagering is x40 of the bonus amount within 14 days, with slots contributing 100 per cent, live and table games 10 per cent, and sports betting nothing at all. The worked arithmetic sits on the welcome bonus page.
What to have ready before you start
Four things on the desk: an identity document, a recent proof of address, a payment method in your own name, and a mailbox you can open. The name must match across all four, letter for letter — it is the only requirement that genuinely decides how the first withdrawal goes. Decide the size of the first deposit too: EUR 20 is enough to test the cashier and the crediting speed without risking anything that matters.
How to pass KYC at Monro
Verification is three uploads. Identity: both sides of an eID card or the passport spread, corners in frame, no glare. Address: a utility bill, a bank statement or an official letter issued within the last three months, showing your name and address on one page. Payment method: a Skrill wallet screenshot, a bank statement with the IBAN, or a card photo with everything masked except the first six and last four digits and the security code covered. The review takes 24 to 48 hours; if a document is rejected the operator names the reason, and a second attempt usually clears.
Pre-registration checklist
A quick pass that saves hours: name matches the document, date of birth confirms 18-plus, the email opens right now, the phone is to hand, account currency is euro, the payment method is in your own name, the password is unique, and a deposit limit is already decided. With all eight closed, registration takes two minutes and the first withdrawal does not turn into a correspondence with support. The self-restriction tools worth switching on that same day are described under responsible gambling.
