Payment methods at Monro
Latvia has used the euro since 2014, and that single fact removes most of the friction from a casino cashier: the balance at Monro is denominated in the same currency as an account at Swedbank, SEB, Citadele or Luminor, so nothing is converted on the way in or on the way out. Seven rails carry money in both directions. The numbers below are the ones we recorded from our own transactions rather than the ones printed on a promotional banner.
One cashier, two directions
The cashier is a single panel inside the account where deposit and withdrawal sit on neighbouring tabs and draw on the same list of rails. Once a first deposit has cleared, the system already knows where the money has to go back to. There is no separate payment portal and no third-party terminal, which is a quiet advantage: fewer screens means fewer places to mistype an address.
All casino payments are counted in the account currency. That currency is chosen once at registration and cannot be swapped afterwards, so for anyone banking in Latvia the sensible pick is obvious. Next to every method the cashier shows its own ceiling, floor and expected timing — that panel is the primary source, and the table below is our snapshot of it as of August 2026.
The banking layer here is entirely European. Trustly speaks to your internet bank through open banking, a SEPA transfer moves as an ordinary payment order, cards are routed through the international card schemes, and the crypto channel runs on a separate circuit with its own wallet addresses. None of these require an installed application; everything happens in the browser.
Every rail with its real numbers
Five fiat routes and three coins. The operator adds no commission anywhere, so the last column names whoever else could take a cut.
| Method | Minimum deposit | Credit time | Payout window | Fee |
|---|---|---|---|---|
| Trustly (Swedbank, SEB, Citadele, Luminor) | EUR 20 | Instant | 1–2 hours | None |
| Skrill | EUR 20 | Instant | 1–2 hours | Wallet tariff |
| Visa | EUR 20 | Instant | 1–3 business days | Issuing bank |
| Mastercard | EUR 20 | Instant | 1–3 business days | Issuing bank |
| paysafecard | EUR 20 | Instant | No payout | None |
| SEPA bank transfer | EUR 25 | Up to 1 business day | 1–3 business days | Bank tariff |
| Bitcoin, USDT (TRC-20), Litecoin | about EUR 50 | 10–60 minutes | Up to 24 hours | Network fee |
A dedicated guide behind every rail
The summary table answers how much and how long. It does not answer the awkward details: Smart-ID and internet-bank ceilings on Trustly, the single-owner rule on Skrill, the network choice in crypto. Each channel therefore has its own write-up covering how to deposit with that method, how the return leg behaves and where it usually breaks.
- Trustly — payment straight from the internet bank, no card numbers typed anywhere.
- Skrill — an e-wallet that matches Trustly on the return leg.
- paysafecard — a prepaid voucher bought at a kiosk, deposit without bank data.
- SEPA bank transfer — the classic payment order for larger sums.
- Visa and Mastercard — card deposits with 3-D Secure confirmation.
- Bitcoin — confirmations, network fee and rate exposure.
- Crypto in general — coins, networks, wallet hygiene.
From the gameplay side nothing changes: coins are converted into euro at the moment of crediting, and from then on the balance is ordinary euro. There are no niche local rails in this cashier — no AstroPay, no PromptPay, no Pix — because in the Baltics open banking covers exactly that role.
Minimum deposit: EUR 20 sets the floor
The minimum deposit at Monro is EUR 20 on cards, Trustly, Skrill and paysafecard. A bank transfer starts at EUR 25, because processing a payment order costs the same whether the sum is small or large. Crypto is counted in coin and the threshold hovers around EUR 50 equivalent, since the network fee makes anything smaller pointless.
If you were hunting for a min deposit casino built around a EUR 1 entry, this is not it, and a 10 deposit will not be accepted on any rail. It is fairer to describe Monro as a low deposit casino of the middle tier: EUR 20 is also the qualifying amount for the 100% up to EUR 300 welcome offer, so a minimum first payment activates the promotion instead of falling short of it.
There is a practical reason to keep that first operation small. Twenty euro walks the whole route — deposit, play, payout request, credit back to the bank — and shows you the real timings on your own bank rather than the advertised ones. That is a much cheaper way to learn a cashier than doing it with several hundred on the line.
Payout speed: hours on wallets, days on banks
Payout speed is made of two segments. The first is the internal review inside the cashier, capped at 12 hours; on a verified account with no live bonus it usually clears in a couple of hours. The second is the method itself, and that is where the spread becomes dramatic.
| Channel | Cashier review | Method time | Realistic total |
|---|---|---|---|
| Trustly, Skrill | up to 12 hours | 1–2 hours | Usually a same day withdrawal |
| Bitcoin, USDT, Litecoin | up to 12 hours | up to 24 hours | Within 24 hours, weekends included |
| Visa, Mastercard | up to 12 hours | 1–3 business days | 2–4 days across a working week |
| SEPA transfer | up to 12 hours | 1–3 business days | 2–4 days across a working week |
A truly instant withdrawal does not exist here, because the review stage is mandatory for every request. Trustly and Skrill come closest: a fast payout on those rails landed the same day for us whenever the request went in before lunch. Three things make a fast withdrawal likelier — verification closed in advance, no unfinished wagering, and a payout routed back through the deposit method.
Crypto beats cards at weekends. A blockchain does not observe Saturday, so a request sent on Friday evening arrives on Saturday, while the same request on SEPA wakes up on Monday. In practice that is a two-day gap for the price of choosing a different rail.
Fees, commission and transaction limits
The operator charges no commission on a standard deposit or payout, which makes Monro a no fee casino on its own side. That is not the same as free. A bank can take a conversion margin if the account is not in euro, a wallet applies its own tariff, and a blockchain always charges a network fee — around a dollar on TRC-20 and far less predictable on congested chains.
| Parameter | Value |
|---|---|
| Minimum deposit | EUR 20 (SEPA EUR 25, crypto about EUR 50) |
| Minimum withdrawal | EUR 20 |
| Daily withdrawal limit | EUR 5,000 |
| Monthly withdrawal limit | EUR 20,000 |
| Operator fees | EUR 0 in and EUR 0 out |
| Internal review of a request | up to 12 hours |
Deposit limits are not capped hard from the operator side, but they are capped by your bank: a daily internet-banking ceiling or a card limit on online operations is the real reason behind most declines, not some imaginary casino block. Withdrawal limits are stricter — EUR 5,000 per day and EUR 20,000 per month, raised individually on the upper VIP tiers. A win above the ceiling does not evaporate; the cashier pays it out in tranches until the balance is cleared.
One more set of transaction limits is the one you impose yourself. In the responsible gambling section you can set a deposit ceiling per day, week or month, and it will override anything the operator allows. It is the only limit that works in your favour, and it is deliberately slow to lift.
Currency, supported currencies and conversion
The account currency is fixed at registration and stays for good: deposits, stakes, bonuses and payouts are all measured in it. The list of supported currencies is the standard international set — euro, dollar and a handful of other markets — but for a player in Latvia only one option makes arithmetic sense.
The reason is that currency conversion is rarely a single event. With a euro card and a dollar gaming account, the bank converts at its own rate with the margin baked in, the payment processor may convert again on its side, and the whole round trip repeats in reverse on the payout. Two to four exchanges per cycle is a visible percentage — invisible in the moment, obvious in the statement. Playing in euro removes both ends of the conversion: what the bank debits is what lands on the balance.
Crypto is the one exception. A coin is converted into euro at the rate recorded when the network confirms the transfer. With USDT that is almost imperceptible because the stablecoin tracks the dollar; with Bitcoin or Litecoin the price can drift over the ten to sixty minutes the confirmations take. The rate actually applied is visible in the transaction history, which shows both the coin amount and the euro amount.
Verification, documents and the pending status
Withdrawal verification is a one-off procedure run by the operator. The documents are standard: an eID card or passport, a proof of address no older than three months such as a utility bill or bank statement, and a proof of payment method. On a card photograph only the first six and the last four digits stay visible and the rest is covered. Review normally takes 24-48 hours, and kyc for withdrawal is never repeated afterwards.
One detail decides most stalled payouts: the name on the gaming account must match the name on the bank account or wallet, and a single-letter mismatch is the commonest reason a first release hangs. The operator collects and stores those documents inside its own cashier; this site neither receives nor forwards anyone paperwork.
A pending withdrawal means the money has already left the game balance but has not yet been handed to the provider. During that window the finance desk compares the request against the account file and the bonus history, and while the status is unchanged the request can usually be cancelled with the sum returned to the balance. Separately, proof of payment may be requested — a card statement or a wallet screenshot showing that exact transaction. It protects both sides: the player against someone funding an account in their name, the operator against chargebacks.
The sane moment to complete verification is the day the account is opened, not the day a win is sitting on the balance. Step-by-step detail lives in the deposit guide and the withdrawal guide, and the wagering rules that also gate a payout are covered under wagering requirements.
Payment questions we hear most
A short payment faq covering the questions support fields in the first weeks after registration: how long does withdrawal take, what the withdrawal limit actually is, and what to do about a deposit not showing.
How long does withdrawal take at Monro?
What is the withdrawal limit on a standard account?
My deposit is not showing on the balance, what now?
Does Monro charge fees on deposits or payouts?
Do I have to withdraw through the method I deposited with?
Why is the first payout slower than the ones after it?
Timings and limits were checked against our own transactions in August 2026. Monro holds an offshore Curacao licence and is not listed in the register of the Latvian regulator IAUI, so a dispute with the operator would not be arbitrated by that authority. Informational content for adults, 18+.
